NMAG Membership Requirements:
- NMAG membership is open to individual philanthropists and philanthropic organizations headquartered or with giving programs in New Mexico
- Members award at least $25,000 annually in New Mexico
- The principal function of each member is the making of charitable grants
- The member’s purpose for joining NMAG is a desire to improve its grantmaking
- Organizations will not use their membership in NMAG to solicit donations
- Members will honor rules of confidentiality regarding their peer colleagues
In order to become a member an organization must:
- Pay annual membership dues to NMAG in a timely fashion
- Complete the application form in its entirety
- Corporate foundations shall submit a list of subsidiaries, divisions and affiliates eligible for and included under membership (bound by the guidelines of the parent foundation)
- Bank Trust Departments shall submit a letter signed by an appropriate officer describing the activities in managing charitable trusts
